4. Measurement principle
●PH: Hydrogen ions selectively permeate through the outer membrane of the working electrode, generating an electrochemical potential, which depends on the pH value of the medium; With Ag/AgCI as the reference electrode, the potential is stable and not affected by the pH of the medium. The transmitter converts the potential difference between the working electrode and the reference electrode to the corresponding pH value based on the Nernst equation.
● Conductivity: Put two coaxial electrodes in the sample solution, add a voltage between the electrodes, and measure the current value, calculate the conductivity value G or resistance value R based on Ohm's law, and determine the conductivity through the electrode constant K related to the structure.
● Turbidity: Suspended particles scatter the incident light in different directions, of which 90° scattered light is less affected by the size of the particulate matter, and is often used as a turbidity measurement. The light source emits light, the scattered light intensity is detected in the direction of 90°, and the transmitter calculates turbidity based on the detected scattered light intensity.
Residual chlorine: constant voltage residual chlorine electrode, composed of two platinum electrodes and a reference electrode to form a micro-battery measurement system. During the measurement, a stable potential is maintained at the measuring end of the electrode, and different components under the potential produce different and good linear current intensity, and the transmitter converts the residual chlorine value according to the generated current value.
