DG-RPLM-L20 radar and hydrostatic composite level transmitter

The product employs a dual‑mode measurement system combining radar and hydrostatic sensing. At medium and low water levels, it leverages the radar’s non‑contact ranging capability to measure water level, effectively handling conditions involving water quality, particulates, and floating debris. At high water levels, it automatically switches to a hydrostatic sensor mounted at a higher position, using pressure to sense the water level and thereby addressing the issue of measurements falling into the radar’s blind zone. This composite sensor configuration simultaneously overcomes both the radar’s blind zone and the hydrostatic sensor’s susceptibility to clogging and atmospheric pressure effects, making it one of the most reliable measurement approaches available today. Moreover, the two sensor systems can cross‑calibrate each other, enhancing measurement stability. In particular, it performs exceptionally well in urban manhole‑level monitoring applications.

The product employs a dual‑mode measurement system combining radar and hydrostatic pressure. At medium and low water levels, it leverages the radar’s non‑contact ranging capability to measure water level, effectively handling conditions involving water quality, suspended solids, and floating debris. At high water levels, it automatically switches to a hydrostatic sensor mounted at a higher position, using pressure to sense the water level and thereby resolving the issue of measurements falling into the radar’s blind zone. This composite sensor design simultaneously addresses both the radar’s blind‑zone problem and the hydrostatic sensor’s susceptibility to clogging and atmospheric pressure effects, making it one of the most reliable measurement approaches available today. Moreover, the two sensor systems can cross‑calibrate each other, enhancing measurement stability. In particular, it performs exceptionally well in urban manhole‑level monitoring applications.
