Safe production refers to the personal and equipment safety during the production process. To ensure that the labor process proceeds under safe material conditions and work order, preventing casualties, equipment accidents, and various disasters, safeguarding employee safety and health, and ensuring the normal operation of enterprise production. Safe production is the unity of safety and production; safety promotes production, and production must be safe. On the morning of November 13, 2024, Jiangsu Degao Internet of Things Technology Co., Ltd. organized "Safety Production Training." Company leaders, all management personnel, and team leaders participated in the training.

Safety Knowledge Training

The trainer first used safety accident cases that occurred in 2024 for warning education, urging everyone to learn from the lessons. Then, the training focused on fire prevention, methods and steps of fire extinguishing, safety escape rules, inspection of unobstructed fire channels, a collection of common fire hazards, and relevant laws and regulations to enhance everyone's safety production concept.

How to Use a Fire Extinguisher

The trainer demonstrated on-site how to correctly use a fire extinguisher. The steps were professional and clear, benefiting everyone present:

First, the safety pin on the fire extinguisher was pulled out. This step is the key to activating the fire extinguisher and is a prerequisite for ensuring that the fire extinguisher works properly.

Second, the nozzle of the fire extinguisher was grasped and accurately aimed at the base of the flames.

Third, the switch of the fire extinguisher was pressed firmly with the other hand. As the switch was pressed, the dry powder quickly sprayed out from the fire extinguisher, forming a powerful extinguishing force. This force directly hit the base of the flames, quickly suppressing and ultimately extinguishing the fire.

Following this, the trainer explained in detail the types of fire extinguishers and their corresponding usage methods. Common types such as dry powder fire extinguishers, carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, and foam fire extinguishers were listed, and their working principles, applicable scopes, and correct operating procedures were explained one by one. Through vivid demonstrations and practical exercises, it was ensured that each participant could proficiently master the use of fire extinguishers so that they could respond quickly and effectively to fires in emergencies.

Through the implementation of this year's safety production month themed activities, employees' safety awareness and safety quality have been significantly improved. They pay more attention to safety production, comply with safety regulations, and master safety skills.

Secondly, through the implementation of safety hazard inspections and rectification measures, the safe and stable operation of production activities has been ensured. Finally, through emergency drills and safety culture publicity activities, employees' emergency response capabilities and safety culture literacy have been effectively improved, laying a solid foundation for the company's safety production work.
