达州Plug-in Electromagnetic Water Meter
Product Description
I. Product Introduction
The insertion-type electromagnetic water meter is a next-generation online measurement device developed based on traditional electromagnetic measurement technology, specifically tailored for municipal water supply, water resource management, and DMA-based zone-metering applications. Adhering to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, this meter replaces the conventional full-tube design with an insertion-style probe. Equipped with a pair of miniature electrodes, it precisely detects the induced electromotive force even at extremely low flow rates, enabling wide-range, high-precision measurement of fluid flow. Thanks to its compact 24-mm probe and pressurized tapping technology, the meter can be installed and maintained "without interrupting water flow" on main pipelines of any material—ranging from DN100 to DN3000—effectively addressing the longstanding challenge of accurately measuring low flows in large-diameter pipes. The meter features a unique split/compact dual-form factor design, supporting hybrid power options such as battery, mains electricity, and solar energy. Additionally, it integrates multiple communication modules—including NB-IoT, 4G, and RS485—making it a critical node in the perception layer of smart water management systems.

III. Product Features
1. Non-stop Water Online Installation and Maintenance
Pressure-rated tapping + isolation ball valve design, allowing installation without shutting off the water supply.
2. Ultra-low Flow Rate, High Sensitivity
Low-frequency rectangular wave excitation combined with high-flux-density coils enables stable signal capture even at microflow rates as low as 0.01 m/s, providing a data foundation for analyzing nighttime minimum flow (MNF) leakage.
3. All-Scenario Power Supply and Remote Transmission
Ultra-low-power design enables "plug-and-play" connectivity for remote pipeline networks without the need for mains power or fiber optics; Bluetooth + mobile app for on-site configuration, making operations and maintenance completely accessible to everyone.
4. Data Security and Intelligent Diagnosis
EEPROM power-off memory, SSL/TLS encrypted transmission, and a bidirectional flow self-checking algorithm; combined with the DMA partitioned metering model, it automatically identifies abnormal flows, locates leak-prone areas, and helps reduce leakage rates.
IV. Application Scenarios
1. Raw Water and Reservoir Water Intake Monitoring
An online water meter was installed on the DN1200 raw water pipeline to enable accurate measurement of low-flow rates as low as 0.1 m/s, with data remotely transmitted to the water resources monitoring platform, providing authoritative evidence for water rights trading and water resource tax collection.
2. Large-Scale Industrial Park Water Audit
Steel, chemical, paper-making, and other industrial parks commonly feature cooling circulating water mains with diameters of ≥DN800. Insert-type electromagnetic flow meters are seamlessly integrated without interrupting water supply, enabling real-time collection of water consumption data for each production process. This system helps enterprises conduct comprehensive water balance assessments, resulting in annual water-saving rates of 10% to 20%.
3. Integrated Transformation of Rural Water Supply
For water supply networks in remote villages and towns lacking grid power and fiber optics, an integrated battery-and-solar-powered insertion electromagnetic flowmeter is used. This NB-IoT-enabled device reports flow rate, pressure, and battery status every 6 hours, enabling "cloud-based meter reading and unmanned operation," thereby significantly reducing operational and maintenance costs.
