DG-RDS-S10L20 Radar Doppler Flow Meter


This is a non-contact flow‑measurement method. The Doppler radar integrates a microstrip antenna, RF circuitry, and a signal‑processing module, enabling direct acquisition of surface flow velocity and water‑level information. The velocity radar measures flow by exploiting the Doppler effect caused by the movement of surface waves; it is recommended to mount the velocity‑sensor module facing upstream. When the water flow approaches the sensor, a positive velocity reading is displayed. The water‑level radar can acquire water‑level data; when combined with bottom‑elevation data, it allows estimation of the cross‑sectional flow area. By integrating this with flow‑velocity measurements and applying hydraulic modeling, flow‑rate data can be derived.
