1. Installation Location
The noise recorder should be installed on all accessible metal parts of the water supply pipes, valves, water meters, fire hydrants, air vents, and other such piping components. The surfaces in contact with the pipes must be clean.
2. Installation Spacing
The installation spacing of noise recorders decreases as the pipe diameter increases, and also diminishes with lower pipe material hardness. The lower the pipeline pressure, the closer the spacing should be; additionally, an increase in pipe fittings such as elbows and tees will also affect the optimal installation spacing. Therefore, it's essential to carefully select the appropriate spacing based on factors like pipe diameter, water pressure, and material type.
