保定DG-RAS-S20L10 Radar Ultrasonic Flow Meter
Product Description
Measurement principle
The product employs a composite dual‑mode sensor—integrating radar Doppler and ultrasonic Doppler—to measure water flow velocity, while simultaneously leveraging radar, hydrostatic pressure, and conductivity sensors to monitor water level changes, thereby calculating the real-time flow rate in manholes. Designed with minimal maintenance in mind, this solution capitalizes on the non‑contact measurement advantages of radar to reduce the likelihood of sensor fouling, while supplementing velocity sensing with ultrasonic contact measurements during high‑water conditions. The synergistic operation of these diverse sensors enables them to complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses, ensuring optimal performance across a wide range of operating conditions.
Key Features

Key Features
Dual-mode flow velocity sensing (ultrasonic and radar), seamless docking with no blind spots.
Note the flow velocity boundary condition: 0.05 m/s to 0.2 m/s (non-contact radar-based flow velocity sensing).
Unidirectional model (when measuring speed with ultrasonic sensing, it does not recognize the flow direction and outputs the absolute value)
Bidirectional flow mode (identifies both forward and reverse flows, with flow velocity and flow rate assigned positive or negative signs)
Multi‑mode water level sensing (radar, hydrostatic pressure, and conductivity) with built-in flow velocity–dynamic pressure compensation.
Output parameters: composite flow velocity, composite discharge, composite water level
Other parameters: single-mode flow velocity, flow rate, water level, and the status of each sensor.
Installed at the top of a horizontal pipe, it enables wellhead operations via a support bracket.
The host features an alloy‑plastic housing, offering excellent corrosion resistance, waterproofing, and impact resistance.
Potting and sealing, immune to the effects of temperature fluctuations on the seal.
Supports RS485 upgrades; when paired with a full host, it enables remote OTA updates.
When installed at the top of horizontal pipelines, it can effectively prevent material from accumulating on the sensor.
The mounting bracket allows for easy sensor fixation.
Application scenarios
A dedicated sensor for manhole flow measurement, suitable for remote sensing of manhole flow velocity, water level, and discharge.
