Scope of application: general use, river water, lakes, drinking water, environmental protection
The product employs the Doppler effect of underwater ultrasonic acoustics for measurement. The sensor emits a continuous, fixed‑frequency ultrasonic signal directly forward into the water and receives echoes reflected from acoustic scatterers—such as fine particles, bubbles, or impurities—that move with the flow. By analyzing the frequency shift of the received signal, the device calculates the velocity of the moving medium, which is then vector‑corrected to determine the water‑flow velocity. Meanwhile, a pressure transducer mounted at the sensor’s base detects changes in water pressure, yielding a water‑level signal. Combined with pre‑configured dimensions of the channel (e.g., river, pipeline), the cross‑sectional area of flow can be derived, enabling the calculation of discharge. An optional conductivity sensor may also be integrated to monitor water‑quality parameters.
The product employs a composite dual‑mode sensor—combining radar Doppler and ultrasonic Doppler—to measure water flow velocity, while simultaneously leveraging radar, hydrostatic pressure, and conductivity sensors to monitor water level changes, thereby calculating the real-time flow rate in manholes. Designed with minimal maintenance in mind, this solution capitalizes on the non‑contact advantages of radar for flow measurement, reducing the likelihood of sensor fouling, and supplements velocity sensing at high water levels with ultrasonic contact measurement. The synergistic integration of multiple sensors allows each to compensate for the others’ limitations, ensuring optimal performance across a wide range of operating conditions.
The product employs an ADS underwater ultrasonic Doppler flow‑velocity and discharge sensor for measurement, leveraging the acoustic Doppler effect to determine flow velocity, measuring water level via pressure changes, and assessing water quality through conductivity. It integrates a built-in power‑management module, a sensor‑drive module, a power‑management module, and a communication module (supporting 4G or NB‑IoT).
